The
The Virgin of the Rocks, 1483-1486, Leonardo da Vinci (April 15, 1452 – May 2, 1519), medium: oil on panel (transferred to canvas – later) & Dimensions: 78.3” x 48.0”. The original art work is @ La Louvre, Paris, France.
The art work I made is very time length sensitive alike to the 4 years of the original made by da Vinci – his painted from 1483-1486 as mine was made from 2010 – 2014 (some painting into 2015, yet, I try to make it look exact for personal art reproduction mysteries). I painted this art work as a layer process which I applied paints in an area painting at a time process which was both fun and useful for me to get really into the art work reproduction. Of course, many months had gone by as non-painting periods of time as I kept adding from time and time again to really illustrate by paint about the detail and likeness of the original to my art reproduction. I tried to design my paint in efforts to make the dress of Uriel by experiences from managing Boy Scout projects and that is about my attention to detail and art enthusiasm into this part of the
Virgin of the Rocks. My Art Dimensions: 77.25” x 47.25” & Medium: oil on canvas.
