I made this art work along with the Liberty art work as a diptych from the same time – the Union also improved over the years by: enhanced eagle wings, textured pattern for the feather on the breast of the Eagle and many different tries to make the figure look right.  I was also painting other figurative art work and I improved my talents to include more facial features like eye shadows and the tints and shades studied to get there.  My art work medium: oil and water mixable oil on canvas...
